This July I (Paul) had a couple of work trips, to Denver and then to Oklahoma City. Work trips mean I don't usually have much time on the side, but I did manage to visit one museum in each city, and of course there's the food! This will be a picture post just to help me remember what I did in each city. :)

Next stop... Oklahoma City! I only had a day and a half here. My hotel was in the Bricktown area, and my meeting included a tour of the First Americans Museum. I drove through Oklahoma City way back in the early 2000s, but this was my first real visit. It has a nice enough downtown/Bricktown area, but did seem a bit quiet and empty. Some more apartments and condos downtown could fix this.

That's it for summer work travel. I won't miss the heat - it was in the upper 90s in Denver, and reached 102 in Oklahoma City.
